This £1.5m project comprised the erection of a new Design/ Technology Suite and the refurbishment of existing science rooms.
During construction it was desirable that disruption to the normal running of the school was kept to a minimum. This was achieved by careful co-ordination of the applicable works between the design team and school staff.
The close proximity of students, combined with a relatively confined site presented a number of challenges, but the planning and implementation of certain procedures contributed to an aesthetically pleasing building being constructed efficiently, with minimal disruption to those on the larger school campus.
