Heron Bros delighted to support “Dream a Little Dream” children’s relaxation book on this World Mental Health Day
“Dream a Little Dream” is a new children’s relaxation book that was created by Place to Wonder. The organisation use storytelling and theatre in nature designed to lower anxiety and increase wellbeing.
Through collaborating with play therapists and health practitioners, Place to Wonder have created a children’s relaxation book ’Dream a Little Dream’ as part of their ‘Children’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing Programme’
The organisation submitted a successful application to the Heron Bros Social Enterprise Fund. The funding has been used to support the launch of the “Dream a Little Dream” book including social media, digital advertising, Arts & Business membership, Mums at Work membership, marketing & design and a video for online promotion.
“We are so grateful to Heron Bros for believing in our work and giving us the resources we need to bring this book into the world so it can reach and help as many people as possible,” Samantha Porciello, Place to Wonder.
The book follows the journey of Luna, a little girl who is stuck in her bad dream and has to find something truly beautiful to wake up. The 44 page relaxation book has tools to empower parents / carers to gently support children to self regulate, process worries and build self esteem.
“Heron Bros is delighted to support Samantha and the team at Place to Wonder. We believe this book delivers an important message and provides useful tools for parents / carers and children,” Karl McKillop, Heron Bros.
For World Mental Health Day 2019, Place to Wonder are launching the book with free postage to anywhere in the UK. For more information on Place to Wonder or to order a copy of the “Dream a Little Dream” book please visit http://www.placetowonder.com/shop
