The North West Regional Science Park is a landmark innovation centre providing 50,000 sq. ft of high specification, flexible workspace over four floors on the historic brownfield site of the former army barracks at Fort George, Derry.
Strategically positioned along the banks of the River Foyle, the new build anchors regional innovation by supporting start ups, scale ups, and research driven companies across the North and West of Ireland. The facility strengthens cross border collaboration with Letterkenny Institute of Technology and Ulster University’s Magee Campus, acting as a critical hub in the region’s technology ecosystem.
The development includes private and shared offices, event and seminar spaces, a data centre, café, and onsite parking. From hot desks to large suites, the building supports a diverse tenant mix across sectors such as software, telecoms, health, biosciences, clean tech, and digital media.
Winner of the 2015 CEF Construction Excellence Award – Commercial Category and Community Impact Champion at the Business in the Community Awards, the North West Regional Science Park demonstrates Heron Bros’ ability to deliver technically advanced, socially integrated commercial environments.
