The EY Derry Office Fit-Out was conceived to deliver an agile, collaborative, and future ready workspace that embodies EY’s brand and corporate identity. Designed to support a flexible, hybrid working model, the office features tech enabled meeting zones, collaborative hubs, and quiet areas that cater to both in person and virtual engagement. The high specification, adaptable layout encourages collaboration and efficiency, reflecting the company’s forward thinking ethos.
The reception area sets the tone with a clean, professional aesthetic, combining exposed ceilings, neutral tones, and durable finishes to create a welcoming environment. Open plan collaborative areas encourage team interaction while integrating acoustic treatments to ensure productivity. Hybrid meeting rooms feature advanced AV systems and enhanced acoustic design, enabling seamless communication between remote and on-site participants.
The canteen has been designed as a multifunctional space for dining, informal meetings, and social interaction. Durable, easy to maintain finishes ensure practicality, while integrated technology supports group discussions and presentations. Sustainable materials, including eco-friendly flooring and wall treatments, have been used throughout to deliver a modern aesthetic with a reduced environmental footprint.
Two main complexities influenced the project. First, integrating hybrid meeting capabilities required balancing in-person and remote needs with careful coordination of AV infrastructure, acoustics, and spatial planning. Second, achieving a consistent, high quality finish across all areas demanded materials that met both performance and design objectives, ensuring durability and visual cohesion.
