Alchemy Fit Out

The Alchemy Techs office fit-out was conceived to create a modern, multifunctional workplace for a forward-thinking, technology driven company. The design incorporated a variety of work zones ranging from enclosed offices and collaborative areas to meeting pods and event ready spaces; ensuring that the environment supported productivity, engagement, and comfort. Every element was tailored to align with Alchemy Techs’ dynamic brand identity, creating a space that reflected both its innovative spirit and operational needs.

The reception and lounge area form a welcoming gateway to the office, designed with a clean, minimal palette, soft furnishings, and a seamless connection to the core workspaces. From here, the open plan work areas provide large, flexible desk zones that foster collaboration while maintaining efficiency. Natural light and subtle spatial zoning contribute to an open, airy feel, balancing teamwork with individual focus.

At the heart of the office sits the canteen and town hall a multifunctional hub for dining, informal gatherings, and company wide meetings. Durable surfaces and coordinated joinery ensure both aesthetic appeal and long term resilience, while the space also serves as a venue for team events. Complementing these communal spaces are a mix of formal meeting rooms and informal pods, each equipped with acoustic treatments and modern finishes to deliver comfort and privacy. Private offices, strategically located for leadership roles, offer focused work areas without isolating them from the wider team.

The project presented two key complexities. The first was integrated space planning balancing enclosed offices, open collaborative zones, and informal pods while ensuring strong acoustic performance and smooth circulation throughout. The second was material coordination, which required careful selection to meet the combined demands of acoustics, hygiene, and daily operational needs. The result is a cohesive, high performance workspace that meets the diverse requirements of a growing technology business.
