The building contains a 215 seat multi-purpose hall, numerous boardrooms, a dance studio, workshop rooms and meeting spaces, tourist information centre with gift shop, a small cafe and exhibition/gallery space.

Elements of construction included traditional pad foundations, concrete ground floor, steel frame, pre-cast concrete upper floors and stairs, aluminium windows and doors, facing brick and rendered cavity walls.

The new centre provides a fantastic location for all residents to vist and enjoy, not only as a venue for the arts, exhibitions and events but also as a much needed community resource providing a shared space which the whole community can feel part of.
