The project comprised the construction of Ravenhill’s new state of the art grandstand. The develop boasts 20 corporate boxes and 530 premium seats as well as an exclusive bar/ lounge facility. Underneath the grandstand houses gym facilities, showers and changing rooms for both Home and Away Rugby Teams.

This scheme, a 2010 CEF Construction Excellence finalist, comprised the construction of a covered stand to existing terraces, 20 corporate boxes and 530 premium seats as well as exclusive bar/lounge facilities allowing supporters to enjoy rugby in the best possible style at Ravenhill.

The works were carried out on a congested, live site environment surrounded by residential dwellings on 3 sides, and completed to ensure that the first Heineken Cup match fixture could commence for the 2009 season. Our programme remained flexible at all times to allow for all Ulster Rugby & Schools Cup fixtures during the contract period. Access to areas were phased on completion of Ulster Rugby’s season to allow work to commence on the new terracing.
