The scheme was developed on a confined brownfield site and requiring extensive demolition, alteration and redirection of site services to the existing live Kennedy Centre. It was designed and constructed and fitted out to Workplace 2010 standards and achieved a BREEAM Excellent. It uses a combination, natural daylight, thermal mass and mixed mode ventilation to ensure low running costs.

It accommodates public interface areas with interview desks and secure interview rooms with back room offices, meeting, conference rooms, catering suites etc. elsewhere.
