Access to the site was via the existing Jubilee Road which is a busy commercial road and had to be kept clean and clear of debris for the duration of the contract.

The works comprised of the minor demolitions to the existing office block and construction of a new extension (19,500 sq. ft.) which housed new office facilities for Hughes insurance.   The development was completed internally and fit-out carried out to the exact client specification.

The new building comprised of a piled foundations supporting a steel framed structure with in-situ concrete floors at ground level and metal decking to first floor level, the external façade will be a mixture of curtain walling, and traditional brick and block cavity walls with a mixture of both pitch standing seam roof and flat trocal roofing.   Alterations and refurbishment works will be carried out to the existing office block after breaking though along with all associated M&E works and siteworks.
