The Sperrins Gateway Landscape is located in the heart of Northern Ireland and is recognised for its distinctive features, blanket bog upland and rolling hills. Covering part of the Sperrins Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the heritage trail also includes the historic plantation towns of Draperstown and Moneymore. It is also recognised as an environmentally sensitive area due to the landscape, wildlife habitats and heritage.

 

Based in Draperstown, Heron Bros Ltd is proud to be part of the Sperrin Gateway Heritage Trail. We are committed to protecting our biodiversity and natural environment and partner with organisations including Business in the Community (BITC) and the RSPB to maximize the positive impact we can have. We are currently trialing the new BITC Business & Biodiversity Charter that will ensure biodiversity remains on our corporate agenda and we continue to invest in the protection of our natural environment.
