Heron Bros Ltd have participated for the first time in the ARENA Network Environmental Benchmarking Survey 2014 achieving the impressive silver award status for their performance. 

The ARENA Network (Environmental arm of Business in the Community) has conducted the annual environmental benchmarking survey since 1998.  It has become the widely recognized principal measure of environmental engagement in Northern Ireland.  The Survey is considered a key driver for corporate environmental management and improvement and seen as a positive influencer in helping to drive continual sustainable improvement within those participating organizations.

This year almost 400 organizations from 14 different sectors were invited to take part in the survey including the top 200 companies and leading public sector organizations.  Those participating organizations report on their environmental management performance which is then used to benchmark and determine their individual organizations overall environmental performance.
