The work comprises of the refurbishment to an existing sandstone primary school and construction of a two storey extension. The external work consists of upgrading an existing access road and car park, installation of a MUGA pitch plus hard and soft landscaping. Some advance/early stage works, including mineral stabilisation and partial demolition have already been undertaken to allow the refurbishment/new build construction phase to commence. The site is a vacant former primary school complex and car park, which has been fully decanted and partially demolished – Fire destroyed the previous brick/timber extension. All demolition materials have been removed from site.
