Heron Bros. Ltd have successfully started the construction of Little Stanion Primary School in Corby, Northamptonshire.

County council cabinet member for children and young people Cllr Andrew Grant and Chairman of governors Anna Myskow officially broke the ground at the site of the new £4.3m Little Stanion Primary School in a ceremony marking the beginning of construction.

The one-form entry primary school will accommodate 210 pupils and a 26 place nursery with community provision.

Heron Bros. Ltd. were delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to Darvel Youth Football Club recent fundraising event. We hope our contribution assists them in the costs associated with the set up of their club.

Heron Bros. Ltd. have successfully completed the new facility at Aycliffe Secure Care Services for Durham County Council.

The £14m facility includes a new 38 bed secure unit with 5 single house blocks, administration wings, reception area, ancillary service wings and a two storey education block as well as recreational facilities including swimming pool and sports pitches.

This was a flagship project for Heron Bros. Ltd and helps cement our reputation in providing excellent secure care accommodation throughout the UK and Ireland.

As well as the new nursery accommodation, the new campus will improve the facilities that can be used by the wider community.

Heron Bros. Ltd. are delighted to be working with East Aryshire Council in the construction of this project.

Ltd. has won the £85m Mental Health Framework for Mersey Care NHS Trust. A joint venture with Farrans the framework will last 4 years.

The TIME project which stands for Time to Improve Metal Health Environments is an ambitious development to improve the quality of care for local services by providing new in-patient facilities.

The first two schemes of Walton & Edge Lane will replace existing sites that are old or unfit for Mersey Care NHS Trust's vision in tackling mental health.

The two modern, mental health in-patient facilities, will each offer 85 ensuite bedroom accommodation in five 17 bedded wards, with 24hr access to safe outside space and activity/ therapy areas.

Other facilities in each unit will include office accommodation and interview rooms for the access/ acute care teams and crisis resolution home treatment teams, occupational therapy and activity spaces, learning and education spaces, family rooms, spiritual healthcare space and social enterprise cafe.
