Little Stanion Primary School Gets Underway

Heron Bros. Ltd have successfully started the construction of Little Stanion Primary School in Corby, Northamptonshire.

County council cabinet member for children and young people Cllr Andrew Grant and Chairman of governors Anna Myskow officially broke the ground at the site of the new £4.3m Little Stanion Primary School in a ceremony marking the beginning of construction.

The one-form entry primary school will accommodate 210 pupils and a 26 place nursery with community provision.

Heron Bros. Ltd hands over new Aycliffe Secure Care Services

Heron Bros. Ltd. have successfully completed the new facility at Aycliffe Secure Care Services for Durham County Council.

The £14m facility includes a new 38 bed secure unit with 5 single house blocks, administration wings, reception area, ancillary service wings and a two storey education block as well as recreational facilities including swimming pool and sports pitches.

This was a flagship project for Heron Bros. Ltd and helps cement our reputation in providing excellent secure care accommodation throughout the UK and Ireland.

The RICS awards celebrate excellence in the built environment and highlight the outstanding standard of work produced by local building professionals. We are delighted that Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre has achieved a commended award within the Community Benefit category.

Success continues in Scotland - HBL Awarded £4m Darvel Primary School Contract

Work on the alterations and refurbishment of Darvel Primary School and construction of a new Nursery Extension is set to get underway in April 2011. The project is part of East Ayrshire Council's "Better School, Better learning proposals".

As well as the new nursery accommodation, the new campus will improve the facilities that can be used by the wider community.

Heron Bros. Ltd. are delighted to be working with East Aryshire Council in the construction of this project.
